Granger and Chaparral are hard to draw, but a lot of big bucks come off those areas. I usually apply for places with 15% - 30% success rates because they are easier to draw, and the success rates can be misleading. Richland Creek is a good compromise between ease of draw and quality/quantity of deer. There are quite a few big bucks there, and you aren't looking at a 10% chance of getting drawn like you are on some of the other well known areas. Of the five trips I've made to Richland Creek, (draw hunts, scouting trips, hog hunting, fishing, etc.) I've seen an average of four or five deer each time, and I've also seen eight point bucks every trip.

Me too, do you know anything about this place? I've never been. I almost never pay ten dollars to apply for the private land hunts, but the success rates at KS park looked too good to pass up! But I'll bet that a lot more people will apply this year than last year just because of the success rates.
