Shot G5 Tekan's last year 100gr. Pretty good mechanicals but I decided to try their fixed Montecs this year, also 100gr. Picked up a couple packs of the new CS version and a preseason set.
I started checking tuning with my fieldpoints. Dead on. Moved to the preseasons (also 100gr) and was hitting high and right (about 3"x2"). Same arrows. Didnt want to change tuning before trying the "real" broadheads, opened the CS pack and all dead on, fly just like my field points.
Anyone ever experience this? I paid $30 for preseason heads because I expect them to fly like the real deal, nope. I guess they just dont use the presicion machining they do on the Montec CS versions? I think I'll take them back and just pay the extra $10 bucks for the real ones. Lesson learned....
