    need help fast.....(arrow weight question)

bought some new arrows for my elk hunt coming up and they sent me the wrong shaft size. the ones they sent me are axis nano's 340's @ 9.5 grains per inch, and the ones i wanted were like 10.3 or 10.5 or something. so my question is should i keep the ones they sent or get the others? i just want my arrows to be heavy enough for elk. i think its 455.5 compared to 487+/- on the two arrows. setup is a 29" mathews dren 72lbs.....hope someone can help....
    thanks!!!!!!

I'll be throwin' 9.8 gpi arrows at elk this year. I'm shooting a Switchback at 27", and I don't think mine will even total 400 grains. I think you will be fine, as long as the spine is right.

I am guessing you got 400 FMJ's I would trade them out....your spine wont work...You have to have the 340's

Like Chance said as long as the spine is right, you should be ok.

Well then they should work great....I would just make sure your pin gaps dont change much...30grains can make a difference.

I think you'll be fine, but if you want more weight, add some weight tubes from Three Rivers archery.

Don't worry your arrows are heavy enough. It's shot placement with a SHARP broadhead first and foremost that's most important. Good luck on your hunt!

If that was my setup....I'd be shooting the 300's
