I had a blowout on i10 just west of sealy! I have a spare but for some reason the floor Jack I carry isn't in my tool box. The 800 number on my DL has someone coming but I need to get ahold of xspot and tell him I might be late.

Just when you think things can't get any worse, they DO!
For some reason I had a feeling the seat was going to blow off of the 4wheeler that I was taking to Xspot, so outside Sealy, I decided to pull over and check it. I hit something on the shoulder that made a loud pop. I pulled off onto the shoulder, like I'd planed and the road felt weird. That weird was a hole in my sidewall that you could stick 3 fingers into! I called my bride, no answer. I sat there for a while trying to find a roadside assistance place on my phone and then Tina calls back. She suggested I call the emergency number on the back of my driver's license. I did, and asked them how it worked. The operator said that they would send out a DPS Trooper to make sure I was alright and then they would help me find someone to fix my truck. While I was waiting, I got out the Ford tools and lowered my spare down from under the truck. Then I sat there for a few more minutes and said, what the hell, I might as well try that dinky ole factory jack. To my surprise, it WAS tall enough to lift my truck. I was still paranoid from the time my tire came off on the way to the McNutt, so I always carry a torque wrench with me now ... so I had a wrench to get the blown tire off and the spare on. (BTW lifted trucks are a major PITA!) As I was putting the blown tire back under the bed, I saw a wrecker approaching. He got about a quarter mile from me, then turned around and left!
I don't know if anyone ever showed up, but no one ever called me back ... so much for the state's wonderful roadside assistance!
I got the 4wheeler to Xspot, and got the items I needed to express back.
I'm just about tired of this bad luck ... no .... REALLY, I am!

I feel for you and yes that 800 # on your DL is a joke. I had a blow out on our way home from Inks lake. We were 5 miles from Georgetown and 25 miles from burnet. Youldent you know the tire truck that show up is from burnet and it took him 2 hours to get to us. Then he charged us milage to and from his shop. Shure would have been faster in the DPS would have called a truck out of Georgetown. Its my fault though I should have know better than to expect our government to do anything right.
