Would anyone know where can I purchase a pallet of corn?

    Corn Prices Go Up Again!?!?!?!

Everything I've heard and seen has said corn is going down???

    Is this a new revelation.

And Walmart, Academy and any feedstore will sell you a whole pallet.

call around to local feed stores and see what their prices are on a pallet. We put out 10 tons of corn and 5 tons of protein every September. Yes, we're slinging bags at the lease. We haven't bit the bullet to get a hopper yet. When buying in bulk like that, we get a VERY small discount.

$6.15/bag if you buy a 50 sack pallet at Mumme's in Hondo. If you take them a pallet for exchange, they will stretch wrap it for you and load it in your truck/trailer. Also, if the weather is bad or there is potential rain, for like 2 bucks, they'll put a big old giant plastic bag over the whole pallet then stretch wrap it. I've done that a gillion times there, and even driving through a rain storm, the corn stays dry. I made a removeable tail gate on my trailer so I could take off my 4 wheeler ramp when I'm hauling corn. That way the fork lift can get to the trailer to load the corn. Sure saves some time and handling.

                Charlie,
Do you know if the Peasall Mumme's offers that service? That rocks.

Don't know Steve, but if they bag it there, I bet they do. Heck, give 'em a call and find out. The last few years, they have been exhibiting in the TTHA shows. You might find them there and ask too.

Thanks, I always hate loading up on corn with a threat of rain.

4.5 at Browns in Lampasas the other day. I am sure they would be happy to sell a pallet.
