Dumped yellow lab

Someone dumped this yellow lab at my house Sunday morning.....Who dumps a yellow lab???Any dog for that matter. I guess I got me a new hunting buddy now. She fetches very good and is house broken, someone did all the hard part then let me reap the rewards.

i would take her to the vets to see if she has been microchipped before you get too attached. pretty yeller though

Already did that first thing Monday morning. Gave tham my number too just incase she got loose.

She could also be an excape artist...both of my labs have got out from what I thought were 100% secure enclosures.

Times are tough for a lotta people right now. I know I'm spending big bucks on dog food every week. When money gets tight, smart people start cutting costs and pets are often the first thing to go. I just wish people would get rid of their pets in a responsible manner when needed. On a happy note though, this girl seems to have found a good home that will take care of her and get her int he field where she belongs. Best of luck with the new bird dog.

She's a lucky dog to have found a good home..............have her checked for heartworms asap, if someone was desperate enough to dump her, they probably didn't have her on heartworm meds like they should have..........
