Catwhiskers work great! Cheap and last a very long time.

Rudey taught me a long time ago, that string silencers on your buss cables, too, is the trick! It silenced my old 80# Cheetah.

I have those on my backup bow and I don't think they do a very good job.

I think my bow is loud when I shoot it but my buddy say it's not and he thinks his bow is loud when he shoots but it ain't. Other than cat whiskers or string stop, I got nada.

Cat whiskers are a little better than leaches but it isn't really enough to make a difference. A string suppressor is what made all the difference in the world for me.

Try to find where the sound is coming from. I have found that if I take a small diameter rubber hose about 2 foot long and have someone place one end on different areas of the bow and the other end on their ear when you shoot you can hear where it is the loudest. I have found loose sights and quiver holders making noise and tightening them up quietened them up. You could have a string silencer that is broken or cracked and making the noise. I will agree with Solocam16 that a string suppressor is the best

Do you use a rubber hose to align your peep sight?... that can cause noise.

Make sure you check ALL screws on the bow and make sure none are loose. A string surpressor helps alot if you don't have one..
