Question for the masses. I need to ship some ammo to a friend in another state (Alaska). He only has a PO Box because he lives about 50 miles from nowhere so FEDEX is out. Does the US post office have any restrictions about ammo? I know several of you guys have sold ammo on here so just trying to figure something out because face to face is out. All help is appreciated.

You have a problem and may want to see if your buddy can have someone with a physical address to receive. USPS will not ship ammo and UPS will not ship to a P.O. Box.
To legally ship ammo through UPS, you have to mark the box as follows:
CARTRIDGES SMALL ARMS ORM-D
UPS even has blue ORM-D stickes to put on the box as well. Don't go to the UPS Store as most will not accept....need to go to the main hub.Comment
