    Catquiver VS Detachable Quiver

Which do you think is better. I haveowned both and like the idea of the cat quiver holding the weight of extra arrows so its ot on my bow. At the same time I'm thinking a detachable quiver and I could just set it in the ground blind or on my tree hanger. If your using a detachable quiver which one has worked for you? Thanks guys

I really like the Spot-n-Stalk Quiver made by Game Plan. It is worn by several TBHer's members and referred to as the "Man Sac"

Can't go wrong with a Kwikee Quiver or Alpine. I've used them both, and they both have a separate bracket that can be attached to a tree to hang the quiver to.

My "man sac" has an Alpine Quiver attached to it. I can snap it on and off as needed.

Does it hurt when you do that?

I had a Cat Quiver several years ago when they first came out. I liked it OK. I saw this one in the New Products catalog from Cabela's the other day. It looks pretty cool, especially if you hunt in a tree.

I've been using a Cat Quiver ever since Jerry first invented them back in the speed shoot days with a recurve.. Nowadays, I usually use mine for spot & stalk hunts but use a bow attached quiver when hunting a fixed stand... Hunting from my Double Bull it's a toss up... sometimes one sometimes the other and ever once in a while when I think I might get into a gaggle of piggage... I'll take both

It really depends what your doing. I have really liked my cat quiver when I was elk hunting in new mexico and colorado. Its great for spot and stalk hunts! The pack held my stuff and the arrows were easy to get to.

For blind hunting, I go with my Mathews quiver on my DXT or my alpine softlok on my AR 31. Easy to take off when I get into the pop-up, tripod or tree stand.

Here's my how and why. I really like the Catquiver III and have used one for years. The only reason I don't use it anymore is because when traveling it takes up a ton of room in my luggage. So for hunts out of state I use an Alpine soft Lock.
I'll probably sell my Catquiver simply because I'm out of state/ country hunting at least twice a year so I almost exclusivily use the Alpine now.

I have a Kwikee 3 on my Man Sack.

I like it, other than sometimes I have a problem with having enuff room for my broadheads.

I have been using a catquiver II for a couple years now and really like it over the detachable kind, just big enough to carry what I need to the blind and protects my arrows better than a detachable.
