Completely understand. I have just tried to get her interested in hunting for so long that it just stinks when she doesn't like it. Anyways I'll stop whining about it now.
word of advice for anyone in a relationship (married or dating) ..... i wouldn't force anything on mama that she doesn't want to eat , watch , or do ....i.e. hunting , sports , eating deer meat, etc....
ain't nothing nice when mama ain't happy
your above situation would be no different than if your g/f tried to get you to go shopping all day, getting a manicure, and watching the Lifetime Movie Network marathons
that's why all men should have a man cave , and a real comfortable couch

This sounds to me like you are trying to force her to like hunting and its aspects. And getting mad and flustrated isnt going to make it a good situation. Ive been in the same situation with Robin and weve came to a mutal agreement She doent complain about my hunting and i wont try to shove it down her throat. Were both happier.
My wife was the same way whined all time about how horrible it was to watch em die. I finally got her to go hunting told her I had a doe tag if she wanted to shoot one No No I'll watch em 1 hr later boom! I go to her and dead doe! I said what happened to watching em. Uh well! I got excited! My heart was beating out of my chest. So a huntress was born, but she still does not like watching someone else kill one or watching them die on TV.
Mine does'nt like to see animals dyin, but I think she understands my need for hunting.
So I watch my huntin shows out in the garage while tuning and cleaning my toys.
We are making progress though too, at first I did'nt think I would be able to bring my european mount in house, now we joke about where I'm gonna hang my first shoulder mount. (hopefully this season)
Myself and my girlfriend were watching realtree roadtrips this evening, and when Blake Shelton let his arrow fly and it found its mark on the pig, the pig hit the ground with a big squeal. My girlfriend immediately yelled "thats not right, I dont like that", referring to the pig's scream. Am I in the wrong by getting so frustrated at her for just not getting it? Its part of hunting, pigs squeal. Needless to say, it was the end of us watching tv together.
