    Help with leaking John boat

I have a cheap 14 ft john boat that leaks around 6 or 8 rivets. What is the best way to patch them? It doesn't leak enough to be in danger of sinking just gets an inch or so of water in the bottom enough to get things wet.

Try JB Weld. I just fixed my leaking disposal with it and have had no problems. Sand and clean the area very well for a good bond. There was just a post on JB Weld a while back and that came in handy for my leak.

            X5 on JB Weld.
Get the JB "water weld(China-mart,er,I mean walmart has it).
Easy to use and dries hard as they claim.(claim you can drill and tap the weld spot).
I bought a 14ft 1964 semi-v that had a leak right in the left near corner seam of the bottom transom area.
Hasn't leaked there for near 3 months now.

I did a friends boat with bed liner from O'Riely's auto parts and it worked great. I did all the rivets and the seems, no leaks for 2yrs now!!!

get some herculiner and line the inside with it, not only will it seal it up in will help with dampen all the clinks and clanks when moving around or whatever

If its just the rivets sometimes you can put a hammer on both sides and and tighten them up. If that doesnt work JB is the next option. I like the bedlinder ideas on dampening the noise. Just keep fish blood off it (Not normally a problem for me..ha) SHould blast off easy as long as its not dried to it.

There is this stuff called gloveit. It is made just for boats and can find it at West Marine.
