Annual Feeder Time Thread

I don't feed year round and I'm about to start flinging corn around twice a day. What time do you guys feed from the spinner?

How many of you guys like the feeders going off before daylight in the morning?

I am thinking that I don't like the feeders going off before daylight.

I was thinking 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. It doesn't get dark right now until after 8:00 pm. but it gets light around 6:30 am.

Right now, mine go off at 6 AM and 8 PM. This is mostly for hog hunting as the deer won't touch the spin feeders this time of year. Around the start of deer season, I'll change the times.

7am, 6:30pm, (8:30 pm, and 10 pm) just for my little piggy friends

once the time change hits, this puts me right on time. but I feed year round and am to lazy to chage 'em much

agreed, i want to be in the stand a good 45mins at least before it goes of around first light

We are at 6:45am and then 7pm right now.....I adjust it through the season to throw just after it starts to get light and well before dark.

Reaper find the sunrise and sunset time data for your area. Since it typically gets light about 30 min before sunrise and then dark 30 minutes after sunset,.... setting mine 15 minutes before sunrise and 1.5 hours before sunset is just about right for my hunts.

7:00 & 4:30 off season....plus 8:00 & 5:30 during the season. 3-4 seconds each.

Usually set mine at Sunup, that way you have 30 minutes of "getting light"

And about 1.5-2 hours before sundown.

8:15 pm

3 weeks = 325 lbs right now...will turn it up here in a month.

Since May 1st, I've been throwing down 50lbs on the road with the tailgate feeder every two weeks....come on bow season.
