Ok yall, just when I'm about to close the deal this friday on my Ranger Crew. I get a call from a dealership in OK. that will match my price. Question is do I have to pay a sales tax if I purchase it in Oklahoma. I Know Sooner said he didn't have to when he bought his 2007. Does anyone know if this still holds true for today.

Navajo did you ask the dealer about tax? Who you buying it from? If your driving from Dallas I would have them knock at least $500 off of what you were quoted up here. I bought mine from Jones in Durant. Jones took about $500 off of the quote I had from the dealer in Antlers. That was about $1000 off the lowest quote I got from the dealers in the Dallas/Denton area. Which they claimed was just over cost. I also paid no tax. Not sure if that has changed since 07.Last edited by sooner00; 07-22-2009, 09:01 PM.

I like the idea of the 400 class (fit in a truck bed) & the new electric ranger has my curiosity up.

When I registered my boat, which I bought in Louisiana, I had to pay taxes to Tx, but I didn't pay a sales tax in La. So my guess is, as long as you don't have to register it with the state you shouldn't have to pay taxes. I've never bought an atv or utv so I don't know the exact answer, but this is how I see it.

Length/Width/Height 108 in./56.5 in/73 in. (274 cm/144 cm/185 cm)
I need to buy a new ATV for camping trips and sparying around the farm, so it has to fit in the back of a truck. I hate to spend 7K on a 4 wheeler!

They are advertising it as a fit in a full size pick-up UTV-
They must have been taking about the HD truck crowd.
You could always just get a Mule 610 & slap a lift kit & taller tires on it.
