Well I have been as patient as I could stand. Trying to get things finished up at work. I have been raking myself over the coals to stay in the saddle so I do not feel guilty when I really start taking time off in a few weeks. I just cannot stand it anymore, I am useless right now. All I can think is deer this and deer that and lookat deer pictures and on and on.

So I am South Bound 35!

It feels so good just knowing that I am going!

Everyone here at my house thinks I'm crazy. All Ive been doing for the past couple of weeks is looking at Deer pictures. Sleepless nights are killing me. Can't wait to see the South Texas Sunrise.

Good luck........I was down to Sabinal this past weekend but can't return until the opening of the general season. Didn't shoot anything, but had some good deer (just not the right deer) within 10 to 20 yards of the stand. I returned with my attitude a little cleaner, and a new focus on getting work done so I can return in a couple of weeks. It's my therapy.

Made it!!! What a drive.

Grass is tall the air is full of moisture and I did not see a single animal out on the 13 mile drive in. The morning will be excellent!

Hopefully I can post some good pictures tomorrow!

It is 4am and I feel soooooo much better already!

That is too funny....I have been there but I was living in Canada at the time and when that urge got too big I would go see my friendly guy who flies the sky and get dropped off at some remote lake in the wilderness for a couple of weeks to a month of some quality time. Now I just drive the 40 minutes to the lease to hunt WT, Axis or BB. Good luck!
