    Blackberry Bold or iPhone 3Gs

First off, anyone using the Blackberry Bold? I like the looks of it. I like the specs. I like that I can sync with Outlook. How is it browsing the WWW.

Second choice is the iPhone 3Gs. Will it sync with Outlook? Is it true you can't send a text message with a photo in it or has this changed with the new version? Has battery life really improved.

I'm thinking of going with the BBB because I really don't need all the fun stuff on the iPhone because I do that stuff on my PC or Laptop.

Hey same situation here...will be watching responses! I currently have BBCurve but wife got Iphone 3g for mothers day and she likes it. I know she can't take pic and send it nor does it have a video camera. Not sure if updated Iphone has that ability now. I like my curve just not 3G ability.

      Blackberry...

..... for email, you have to go online to check it with the iphone. The Blackberry will auto-check for you.

besides, the iphone is a toy, the Blackberry is a tool.

Unless you want to impress your peeps with your blingy iphone , the Blackberry gets the business done without a hitch!

I have a Blackberry Pearl (work phone) and an iPhone 3G (personal). I like the iPhone better. The iPhone 3GS will shoot video for e-mailing but you still can't send video or pictures via MMS on AT&T "yet". They are supposed to be updating the software later this summer. I believe that T-Mobile and other carriers for the iPhone, you can send pics via MMS. With AT&T, you can send the pics via e-mail and every phone has it's own e-mail address. There are also apps in the Apple store that you can share pics with. Not like sending a picture message with say a Razr or a Blackberry but close. I have outlook and I've got my iPhone sinc'd to it, no problem. Battery life will be depleted a lot faster if you have your e-mail set up to push automatically, it can be set to manual or every hour etc. The iPhone just seems a lot easier and user friendly to me. But afterall, this is just my opinion.

          Good luck!

BB Bold. Also, get the book titled "BlackBerry® Bold 9000 Made Simple: For the Bold 9000, 9010, 9020, 9030, and all 90xx Series BlackBerry Smartphones."

This author makes his living writing Smartphone tutorials / DVDs. He has some good comparison's on what each of these phones can do for its users. And yes, he like the iPhone too. <grin>

I have the iPhone 3Gs, and yes it sinks with outlook and other email accounts. Honestly haven't tried to send a text message with a picture in it yet but everything I have seen says you can. Battery life for me and I use it moderately is 3 days. Web access is great I had one bar at the lease Sterling county and surfed with out any problems.

With 3G on it will eat up the power. You can turn that off when you don't need it to save on the battery power.

I have the BBB and am very happy with it so far. I do like the Iphones as well, though.

Cant go wrong with an iPhone.
Ask Michael about his. I think he switched from the BB to the iPhone last year and after a week or so of getting used to it he said it was better than the bb.
Search and see if you can find his thread....I'm almost positive I remember reading that from him. (I think he runs his own business too)
