    Tuff Pig

I posted a video on 5/14 of two pigs I shot. I found the first one but did not find the second one. I knew from the video I hit her far back but was sure she would have expired. My arrow did a complete pass thru with minimum blood on the arrow and no blood on the ground. http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...ad.php?t=85518 I checked the trail cam a few weeks ago and she showed up on the camera She looks drawn up to me but is still eating and breathing. Hopefully I will get another shot at her next time I go. It is the spotted hog on the left.

I say shoot the one that looks edible. I would not worry about putting her out of her misery, she looks like she'll get better.

I shot one last fall @ 15 yds about 3-4 inches behind the shoulder and had complete pass thru. Lots of blood on the arrow from tip to nock. decent blood trail. I found the blood trail at start because of a spray of blood on a small tree it ran by on its way out. tracked a zig zag route and through a small creek bed and to the other side of a hardwoods bottom. after about 250-300 yds from where i shot the pig i gave up due to the warm weather in October. i figured if it had the energy to make it out of that bottom then there was no telling how far it would go. it was only about 80-100 lber. tough to say the least
