Her expression seems to indicate that she's taking it very philosophically.

    A major cutie!

Whew!!! that could have been bad!!! glad to hear she bounced back but I would monitor her for 2-3 days. Heck, I would be in her room when she slept just in case!!!

x2...the moment my little girl started walking, it was off to the store to pick some up. The only problem that I have is that she is constantly pulling it off of the corners and playing with them.

On EDIT: Sorry to hear about your little girl. Very beautiful lil' girl indeed!

Glad she is ok, our fire place has numerouus chip and round corners from the kids growing up, now the grandkids are pretty safe.

I'm glad she's okay. You figure the LOC was due to her not breathing normally there at first?

Ouch!! I'm glad she is okay. It is amazing how Mommy instincts take over and help avoid panic. I'm always worried sick that my wife will just crumple up if our kids get hurt but she always does great. The other funny part (funny now that she is okay) is how fast adults will move when a child is hurt. We had a two year old fall out of our second floor window (don't ask, it wasn't our child either, I'll save that story for a rainy day!) I have never seen four adults all around forty in age move like we all did that day. (He was fine, not a scratch on him, nothing!... if it had been an adult it would have been multiple fractures) Again, I'm glad she seems to be doing fine. God bless her.

Ummmm....I would prefer you not use a 10lbs sledge on our fire place! I will take care of the problem so there wont have to be any destruction of our home.
