    Wic

Is there a sight somewhere that tells you who is on WIC? I have a neighbor that has three kids and one on the way. I figure my tax dollars are working so I wanted to see. Families in need I can understand people with an infinity and a brand new house .. not so much.

    Thanks,

I don't know, but my wife is tired of them asking her everytime she checks out of walmart if she is on WIC. She just smiles and says "I am sorry but my husband and I work for a living."

And I am not mad a people collecting unemployment. I have been there. I am mad at people living across the street having 4 kids BOTH working. Getting a check from the GOV each month. Making the same I am just not being married.

Nope , there is not a way to find out.....

WIC is a government funded program that helps families out( income qualification is required) with new infants up to the age of 5 years old and provides a credit card type program to purchase baby formula and baby cereal. once the child is the age of 1 year, it will expand to purchase milk, cheese, eggs, juices, and cereal.

Nothing taken- I am probably like you and get my fill of it sometimes.

Our company bought and donated 2000 hams last year at Christmas and I help load them one day. You had to be on WIC to qualify and all I did is load up Escalades, Benz's, and Caddy's all day. I got so mad that I quit.

First of all I am by no means in favor of the government giving my tax money in the form of a welfare check too people to lazy to get a job. But I don't have a problem with wic because it only pays for neccesarry items like milk, bread, cheese. The way I see it the kids don't deserve to go hungry because their parents don't have a job.

I know first hand people that "trick" the gov. and get on all these gov. assistance plans. The way they fool the gov. is unreal, you would not believe it. And when you look at their lifestyle and there "stuff" you would think they were in the upper class. With that said, everytime I think about them or that situation I get a HUGE case of the screaming red....! I fill like asking for their kids social security number so I can claim them as dependents!

Just a thought to ponder. God has blessed me with 2 miracles. I have two children that I have adopted. We got my daughter when she was 10 days old, I adopted her when she turned 10 months old. I got my son when he was 2 days old, we adopted him when he turned 6 months old. My adoption agency worked with CPS. We were "foster-to-adopt" parents. So while we were "fostering" they technically belonged to the state. Therefore we were also given the WIC cards to buy formula. I am by no means rich, but I am not what I call poor either. It was a blessing to have the WIC cards with baby formula costing $180 a month. Once the adoption was finalized the WIC stopped. The only thing I am trying to say is maybe not to put everybody in the same catagory just because they are using WIC.

Oh Navaajo you have me wrong. I work everyday so does my wife. My son is in day care every week also speech therapy twice a week for the past three years. Speech therapy alone is 600 dollars a month. crying ain't my game. Tax dollars are. My son has downs syndrome. I am asking if there is a place that tells you who is getting WIC. That's it. Your taking me for the bad guy. I am mad at the system. Not you.
