    Mission bows

Anyone shoot a mission bow? i have a friend interested in getting into bowhunting and he called a shop that carried these and .. let's just say he did not get a great thumbs up on these bows. I know they are made by mathews and he doesnt want to break the bank first time out. Anyone out there have any input on mission bows please provide...

All the ones I have shot I liked...... not what I bought but they shoot good to me.

Tell your buddy to shoot everything he can get his hands on. Let the bow pick him, not him picking the bow. Then go with what is in his price range and get out and start shooting!

I agree with letting the bow pick him. When I bought y bow 2 years ago, I had a price range in mind and shot every bow in that range and ended up with a bow that I would have never picked if I had not shot it.

I have a Mission Eliminator. It is a very nice shooting, quiet, and accurate bow. I am very happy about my decisoin to buy it. I was looking at the Diamond Rock and Bowtech Allegiance. The Mission was way smoother to draw than the Diamond. I did not wait on the Ally to come in, and I still haven't shot it. I was very impressed with the Mission. Give them the once over, and see if he likes it.

I bought one for my 1st bow. They are smooth, accurate and solid. Not supper fast but they can and will kill something. I think they are great for the entry level person that is not wanting to break the bank to get in to the sport. If the shop he called is pushing him to the high end bows only I would go else where. Everybody has different situations and if the shop does not recognize that then they are not doing what is best for your friend.

I have a Mission X-3. I have had no problems and really enjoy shooting and hunting with this particular bow.

I have a friend with one and he has taken several pigs with it, they were just as dead as everyone else's pigs. Im just saying there is NOTHING wrong with them at all. Just shoot all your interested in and pick the one that feels right.
