    '98 dodge a/c

I'm trying to get to the a/c coil on a 1998 dodge ram 2500. Since they dont have any type of filter the coil is pretty much totally clogged with junk.

So far I removed the fan and a few screws around the bottom of the housing but its still in there really tight.

Is there something i'm missing or does dodge really suck this much at design.

I changed the filter in my chevy in under 15minutes.

    thanks

not sure what you are after here. If You want to clean the evaporator, There really is no access unless You pull the AC Plennum out to then remove the evap for cleaning. Flat rate prolley pays about 7 to 8 hrs for that removal. It's a tough job. I do not think you can get a decent cleaning any other way. but, best of luck to Ya

Thats what I was trying to do.

I may just have to end up cleaning it as good as possible from the hole where I removed the fan.

I just figured the bottom of the plenum would drop off when I removed the screws then I could use a brush and commpressed air to clean the coil out.
