    Bow Problem

When I shot my bow yesterday, it shot low about 6 inches @ 30 yards. I store it inside at about 72 degrees. Last night I left it in my building and shot it this morning and it is right on @ 30 yards. This doesnt make sense. I wonder what my bow is going to do when the tempature changes outside. I shoot a Browning Mirage.

It could be the lighting , there is a difference between UV light and floresent light !!!

Sounds like your serving is slipping or you're using a different grip (hand torque). Temp wouldn't affect your bow that much! But if you have a plastic rest it can, yrs ago I tried some kind of Golden key rest that had a plastic forked tongue launcher style and it would change POI several inches from 70 to 95 degrees. In the high heat the plastic would soften sagging down some making my POI drop, in cooler weather it would stiffen raising POI. I don't use a rest with any plastic any more.

Was both times you shot outside at the same time of day? The light will play tricks with your eyes, When i go from 3D to indoor i have to move my sight because of the different lighting. How long has the bow been sitting? Maybe the strings needed to be seated again. If you did everything the same both days and the second day shot right on thats strange!! 6" off is a good bit at 30 yards. My bow stays in my room at about 70 degrees and i have been shooting outside in the BLISTERING heat and is right on. Sometimes they just have a mind of there own??

With a 6 inch difference I am going to lean more towards operator error. Or like coop said, check your serving. There are very few things that I know of that can make that much difference and you can't look at the bow and see the problem.

It dont take much on form to throw you off especially if you haven't shot in awhile, Anchor/release/grip? Thats what makes archery fun everything has to be the same every shot!

It sounds like your changing your anchor point. Are you using a Peep? check your serving at your nock and peep to make sure they are not slipping. Also check your sight to make sure it's not moving. I just can't imagine a bow shooting six inches off at 30 yards because of the temp.
