Somebody at the office came across this website: http://hundredpushups.com/ - Which claims that no matter your fitness level (within reason) the program will have you able to do 100 push-ups -in one set- in 6 weeks. The macho competitive vibe started flowing and then it was "I'm in, you in?" Six of us pitched in $25 to be divided between all who can do 100, 6 weeks from now. We range in age from 29 to 52 (me
). To start, you set a baseline by seeing how many you can do. That range was from 22 to 50 push-ups. ( I came in at 32) Your baseline determines the workout, which is to be done 3 times weekly. I have been getting bored and half-assed with my weight-lifting so I needed a gimmick and a little competition to get me motivated. Should we start a TBh push-up challenge?
