Ask PEC if they have a spec sheet and then you can price the components at HD. I built mine they are really easy to do if you are used to doing things yourself. Just make sure you do all the things they spec or they will not hook it up. Some Utilities will give you the meter socket.

PEC does have a spec sheet, it also has a diagram so you can visualize it. Go to an office to get it, they will also give you the meter can. Don't be afraid to walk into a Dealer's or some other kind of electrical supply house to get a price quote on material. If you do go the supply house route, try to hit them in the middle of the afternoon, when things are slower. If you are there at the beginning of the day asking a lot of questions and looking for a tutorial on fabrication while all the contractors are trying to "get in and out" you won't be the most popular person in the place.
