Plano - McKinney Area Range / Practice

    Hi everyone,

Can anyone recommend a decent bow range in the NE Dallas area? I live in Allen, so I'd prefer some place between Plano and McKinney. Also can anyone recommend a local bow repair / shop? I'm new to the sport, so any advice is welcome.

    Thanks

I would second Fay at north texas archery - there is a 3d range near 75 and 635 I believe and there is also Collin County Bowhunters Association - the range is north of princeton and west of farmersville - take about 20 minutes from 380/75.

I also live in Allen. The closest range is Texins Archery Club. It is at the intersection of Walnut and TI Blvd. I also recogmend All Star Archery in Lewisville for a good shop.

Ti range is a great place to practice. Meet up with me next Wednesday and I can take you down there. They even have a broadhead range.

I just joined the TI range last week. Sweet setup, and a great place to practice. They even have a place to practice shots from tripods, tree stands, and ground blinds.

AllStar just put a new set of cables on my Browning going to p/u tomorrow. I have been wanting to get by TI and join up too, anyone know if they can do a Hag qualifier there?

I have been a member of the TI club for about 2 years now. It is a great place to shoot. Yes they do Hag quals, but I think they may have done them by now. Go here : http://www.dallasarchery.com/index.php?section=1 and Email Clint Montgomery or Bob Barnette and ask them for the details.

I live in Plano and have had the opportunity to go to one of TAC's Wednesday evening 3D shoots. Will join soon. The guys and range are 1st class.

And All Star Archery in Lewisville is fantastic with 20 yd indoor.
