    Food Plot Pics?

If you have any pics of food plots where you hunt please post. This 4 acre fall plot was planted in wheat, oats, and triticale. This spring we are planting peas and lablab in about 20 acres. If anyone has had success with lablab let me know.

Well, shortly after these photos were taken, the deer stripped every leaf off every plant. So, we decided to try electric fence.

July 4th we took down the electric fence and you can see the growth we had. Sorghum is waist high and the lablab, cowpeas are knee high. We decided it was time to let the deer have it. Amazingly the fence worked.

        OUTLAW,
I considered the "shock memory" but I figured they would forget when they saw access to the groceries. We had to do something. There was just too much time, effort, and money put into planting for them to wipe it out so fast. Overall, I am pleased with the results and I am sure the deer are too.

I plant my peas 1st of sept. 1 acre 1/2 is electric fence, worked well last year. I took the fence down 1 week before bow season no problem. If the peas get a little follage on them before being used by the deer they last alot longer. 2 years ago i did not fence and peas were gone by bowseason.

Here is my website of plots over the last several years. But this year is horrible, everything died due to NO rain.
