Does anyone have one or has shot one? On paper it looks like a pretty nice bow.

I've owned a couple in the past. They shot great but were alittle on the heavy side. Killed several animals and shot some great scores with them. They just don't advertise as much as some other brands do. I shoot mathews now but wouldn't hesitate to go back to a firecat.

Ive got one, its an '08....it doesnt have the roller cable guard like the '09 Firecat...Its a sweet shooter, the draw is very smooth, light weight, the only thing you here when shooting it is the "thud" from the STS....no hand shock.....a very adjustable draw length system...I retired my Iron Mace after shooting this bow...shoot one, you'll see what I'm talking about......and its about 1/2 the money of the fanboy bows

Thanks for the info guys. I do like the fact that they are lightweight and still getting 335-340 fps with a 7" BH.

Have also had great customer service from the company. Not on a firecat, but have been thinking about getting one of the 09 ones.
