Prayers sent.....does diabietes run in the family?

I believer her Grandfather is diabetic. She was diagnosed roughly 2 years ago. She is 25.

My brother called a little while ago, and said they are getting the blood sugar levels under control. Ultrasound shows the baby girl looks good. They are going to stay at the hospital for monitoring. They've got her on an IV "diet" for a while, and paying close attention. The pregnancy has been considered "high risk" from the get go because of the diabetes, but to this point things have run relatively smooth. I'm not sure how far along she is, but she's due in early November. Thank You All for the prayers.
