I work in house attics everyday, somewhere around 135 to 160 degrees. How sweet it is. Seems like I should be loosing some weight.

Dont leave a metal tool laying in the sun. It will burn you.

I light hundreds of acres at a time on fire in this weather. Licensed to burn under ban as well, only Todd Staples can really shut me down, If not setting fire to something I am on the dozer eatin dirt pushing firelanes. Get to the bowshop on some days and work in the ac, but not much anymore since I started the siteprep co.

The only problem with moving up from assistant to head super is that I have become good at pointing my finger and have gained about 30 lbs.

Smokin feathers....make your way to Flower Mound and start a few around here so it will give us other smoke eaters something to do.

I am a HVAC tech I feel sorry for you southern boys it hot as hell in KS also
I am still undecided what's worse, heat or cold. HVAC in northern Illinois till 1998, south since then. Man, working on them -20 w/-40 wind chills vs. 105 w/115 heat index.......that's a tough call. I honestly prefer the heat!!!

got you all beat, I am a roofer, working now in Austin after the last hail storm. 105 is only the temperature on the ground. Add another 30 degrees on top of those roofs.

Boy is that true!!!!! I didn't know we had so many super's on here I am in North Texas. You just get use to the hot and keep going and waiting for the fall temps so things slow down and time to get in the WOODS!!!!!
I am at Texas Womans University, they have an 18 hole course here OH an forgot to add we just had a rain shower this morning, now it will be really muggy!!!!

Its not hot until we bunk out and go into a burning house, chasing a grass fire, or working a wreck on the freeway. I would not change a thing, I love it.

This is the one thing I don't miss about working on the flightline at Dyess... The heat. Working on the B-1s when its 105 open air can be 125 working on the EXCM or the 196 trailers.
