I don't condone what he was doing, not right in my book either. Don't get me wrong. It just seems a lot of "famous" people are getting a little too big for their britches and are paying for it all of a sudden. There are a few that I am not all that sad about too.

In the end he, me and you are not going to be judged on how we played football. He was murdered and just because he cheated on his wife does not mean he should have been killed, but he put himself in that situation. Did he deserve to die of course not, but he chose the lifestyle and the cards were dealt.

Understand he was unfaithful to his wife, but not sure why that has had such an effect on some of you personally. To call someone scum and what not just seems pretty harsh. Glad my dad isn't a famous ball player and I will not have to listen to people not in the know judge him for all his mis doings.

I will remember Steve for the right reasons. I'll remember his as a good athlete, and a great leader on the field. On who gave back to the community. And as one who did it out of the spotlight.

But you screw up, even a minor screw up, they definately recognize that and remember it. Infact it could put you in the wrong spot light.
