    Trouble shootin a tractor issue...

Other then getting a new driver.... I hit a tree, not very hard but.... it was a big tree with the bucket on the front. I noticed afterwards the bucket would lower but it wouldnt go back up, What did I do? Why do people put buckets on a perfectly good tractor?????

One of your hydrolic hoses probably came loose or is leaking. I hate buckets too!

All I remember was thinking " I only have two more food plots too go...." while listening to some Whiskey Myers on the Ipod enjoying a very hot but productive day and that tree ran over from like 30 yards away and threw itself in front of my bucket.

Take hydrolic oil with you! Or else you might make that walk again. Brakes, steering, and everything run off of it. Don't ask me how I know...

I agree with the hoses but I love the bucket.

I've had a few "bucket trees" too over the years. Don't know where they come from. All of a sudden they are there. I could not get along without a bucket even though they do snag on a few things.

Spur, do you have a box blade on the back? If so, try lowering the box blade just a little. Sometimes when that is picked all the way up it puts the rest of the hydraulic system in a bind. Don't ask me how I know that.

I'd find the busted hose and fix that first. Otherwise the hydraulic fluid will just keep coming out. I've seen it first hand.
