Does anyone know a good taxidermist is S.A.?

My son is going to hopefully shoot an axis on the weekend of the 18th. Does anybody know of a good taxidermist for axis or just a taxidermist in general. Please post website if possible.

Otteas off of nakoma is real good. Had a euro mount done there a few yeears ago that turned out really good. I dont think they have a web sight though

If you are looking for great work at a fair price look up Paul at 2nd nature taxidermy. He charges about 350.00 and does great work. Dan Verrips is also a great choice but a good bit pricier. James Blocker was taught by Dan Verrips. Do not use David Verrips!!!! Do not use Mike Ottea unless you want your mount to be bug eyed or cross eyed or lost and never returned. Speaking of Joe Jasek buck I saw one of his at Dan Veripps the other day being mounted, nice deer.
I know all the Taxi's in and around San Antonio and my choice for the money is 2nd nature.

I know James Blocker from when he was on the Calf Scramble Committee at the San Antonio Rodeo. Seems to be a really good guy. Dan Verrip was involved in our Wild Game Dinner for years. Loved seeing the stuff he would bring in for displays.
