I'm getting her dialed in! I would appreciate any thoughts on a problem I've encountered. I'm using some 80gr field points because I am planning to hunt with a few 80gr muzzys that I have left from several seasons ago. I was hunting with a very old & slow bow so I went with a lighter BH to save a little speed. I was advised by the tech that helped set up my new bow to go with 100 gr broadheads, but I would hate to leave these unshot 80s sitting on the shelf.
Ok, to the problem. My first pin is dead on at 10 yds. I have my second pin as close to the first as possible and I am still shooting high. So would I be better off with one pin at 20 and just get used to holding low for a 10 yd shot? Or maybe first pin at 15 with minor sight picture adjustments for each of those shots? Anyone with a similar experience? When I make the switch to 100 gr broadheads will my arrow drop allow me to go back to pins at 10-20-30? I don't know how fast this bow is, I know it is alot faster and more quiet than the antique I recently retired!
Thanks for any input
