Just got a new Archers Choice camera arm by Ameristep, haven't put on a tree yet but I'm really happy with it!!!! Can't wait for season!!! I just may go out and do a little preseason "hunting" with a camera!!

I recently got the Primos arm myself. I am excited about trying it out this fall.

thx for the post , i'm in the mkt for a camera arm purchase

based on my research.... the Archers Choice arm looks solid, fully adjustable and priced around $99

several have steered me away from the Gorilla arm as it tends to move in the wind

for those who video hunts out of a tree , what are you using and how about some recommendations

      - lone wolf

      - primos

      - hunter cam cradle

      -3rd arm

      - muddy camera arm

      - machine shop home made ??

      thx TBH brother hood

I welded a rigid coupling to a treestep and my camera sits about 8" from the tree. Works great at my pig holes where you know right where your shot is gonna be. I used an old head from a tripod and cut it off, it just slides right down into the coupling. I used electrical tape on the shaft so it is quiet.

I used my Muddy this weekend and couldn't be happier! For a bigger camera like my FX1 it was awesome! The ability to adjust on vertical and horizontal axis are a must, imo..

Hope your camera arm works. Got a buddy that refuses to hunt with out his camera now that he has started videoing. Thats what we all need, another habit. Ha Ha

Ive got a lone wolf, in fact I got one of the first one from Andre before he sold the company. It is solid and steady. It will run about $120.
