Heading down to the ranch for a little fishing and fireworks, and a whole lot of meat burning. Ribs, Elk Backstrap and tenderloin, and a little oryx sausage.

Heading out to our friends in Lampasas for some BBQing, then gonna shoot our bows a while, then off to the "Free" Dierks Bentley concert on FT Hood, followed by the fireworks. Yall have a Happy Fourth!!!

We fly my wife's Grandfather's 48 star flag that used to fly in front of his home. Pops was a WWI and WWII vet, and the 4th was his birthday, so my wife remembers the flag from being a small child.

"Corn Slinger" and I went and shot our bows this morning. I took a chance and shot his Hoyt for a little while. It actually shot pretty well. And, I am not sick yet. I guess I am slowly building up an immunity.
