    CHL Question????

Mailed my application in late April. I have been checking the status of my application daily and it says "Processing Application" . Well I check it this morning and it says "No application or license/certificate active". Can someone tell me what exactly what this means?

Wait 30 minutes. It will show processing again. Mine did the same thing a while back.

I have had my PIN letter over a month and it still says processing. I am at or over the 90 day mark since I mailed it. Called a week ago and the lady said they were waiting on my background check. I thought it was instant- it is when you buy a gun. Anyone know about this? If it matters, there is nothing remotely questionable on my record.

my time frame is very similar to yours

            Got my PIN May 27th.

Shoot me a PM if you see positive activity... I have learned my lesson... don't let your CHL expire!

took me 208 days from the time I mailed off the completed application (had the PIN for about a month before that) to the time I got the license in the mail.

I talked to the state Reps but not sure if that speed it up or not....

Mine was about 90 days from mail out to receipt but I had to mail my picture back to them twice. I mean I know I'm good looking and all that but all they had to do was ask for extra copies.
