Since I've been laid up recovering from the cycle accident, I've had an opportunity to do some shopping. First was a new DPMS A 4. Picked it up earlier this month and have been busy adding on a few extras...new Vortex red/green dot (thanks Arrowsmith) new front handguard, light, laser and bi-pod. I've already put a few rounds down range and can't wait to get it sighted in and pop a few song dogs and pigs with it.

The other is a 1945 Ithaca 1911 A1 US Government Property. Met up with beattywhitetailranch on Friday and the deal was done. Thanks Bryce. This handgun is a great addition to my US military arms collection. I have a few (much to my wife's chagrin)
in the collection so far.

So far I've got the safe full with a few collectors items
Now I need to find a Krag Carbine, 1874 trapdoor (Rifle & Carbine) and both a WW1 and WW2 trench shotguns...If i win the lottery, I may even try for a Thompson
