    Limbdriver split limb adapter.

I am in need of one in a bad way. I called Vapor Trail and they said they were out of them right now. I find that hard to believe, but what can I do.

I have that same rest with split limbs and didn't use the adapter. The cord is tied directly to my limbs

I have an extra adapter if you need PM me! You can also tie the cord to the upper limb. Just use a d loop knot on it.

Seeing as how I just ordered a limbdriver for my hoyt with split limbs, why would you need an adapter? Thanks in advance for curing my ignorance

I have several sets due to the fact I tie directly to the limb also.

Adapter may be the wrong term for it. It is the part that hold the cord to the limb.

Maybe I'm just not getting it. Why do you have a drop away cord attached directly to the limbs? I've never seen it done that way.

Deflex of the limb downward relaxes the cord and lets the rest come up. Just backwards from most other rests. I've been shooting one a year or so and like it.

It's not your normal drop away - this one kind of acts backwards from other drop aways in that the tension on the rope pulls the rest down and the slack on the rope flips the rest up. So, with the bow drawed, the limbs being pulled downward releases the tension on the cable, thereby flipping the rest up. And when you release the string the limbs returning to normal fkip the rest down.

No timing issues with binary bows, no servings attached to your cables - I like it much better than my Trophy Taker on my other bow.

What cipher said, I didn't want a drop away rest tied into my cables and such

If you don't end up attaching the string directly to your limb, you might try Paul at Double G in Georgetown on 29 about 1/2 mile east of 130. He may have one laying around. He is normally closed on Monday, but since he just came back from vacation he might be at the shop, give him call tomorrow, 868-5530
