Don't spend that much.
I have played with Vortex bino's for years - yes I am a staff member and dealer but long before they ended up in my store they ended up in my testing center....(me on my mountain bike in hot humid east Texas and later in snowy conditions chasing elk in Colorado. I was so impressed I bought the company...should I say bought into the company.
NOW the reason I say don't spend that much IS I have compared many a bino in the 3-$400 range only to say that I was as much or MORE satisfied with a $200 pair of Diamondbacks (tested). Now if you want to go over the $ 500 range I would suggest something else but....I always point to the Diamondbacks and would not hesitate to carry them on the most expensive hunt. If you want to see a pair up close PM me your mailing address and I will send you a pair to test. You satisfied you can purchase if not send them back.

In your price range, Nikon, Vortex, Leupold and Steiner all have binos that will fit your needs. A trip to Cabelas, Bass Pro or other optics store is in order. Play with all of them and see what you like. Try them in lower light for better comparison. All glass looks good in bright light. Its the low light situations where the good glass stands out.
