Buffalo Hunts

Anyone had any good experiences or local (southwest) recomendations? I'm looking mainly for a meat hunt w/ a nice head.

I did it up at the Triple U in SD (Where "Dances With Wolves" was filmed), save your cash and find a feedlot where you can shoot a cow. Shooting a target in my backyard is more sporting. No wonder they almost went extinct.

Check with Keith Johns Outdoors..... He has some nice bulls.

But like 1369 said........ it's no wonder they almost died off.

Texashuntlodge.com is on my list for running decent buffalo hunts. They are between Hunt and Ingram in the hill country. I haven't been there yet, I just put them on my list because I heard good thing s about them.

Saw a place out by the YO that was like $895 for buf hunts. If your wanting meat may be worth a look!
