    Scoutguard owners, have a question?

Ok, I just got a Scoutguard and I like everything about it except for one thing. When I switch the card to my personal camera it does not show the pictures on the viewfinder. It just says "memory contains no images." When I hook it up to my computer it does transfer the images. Also, if I hook up the Scoutguard to a TV I can view them. I tried several different SD cards to double check and double checked doing the same procedure with other trail cameras to make sure it wasn't my personal camera.

Has anyone else had this problem? For the record my personal camera is a Nikon Coolpix. I've never had this problem with any other trail cam and unfortunately I've had to try a few trail cams. This is actually a fairly big issue for me as I check my pictures in the field a lot especially when hunting in Colorado.

On the positive I love the size of the camera, the use of double AA batteries, and it seems to take a quality picture. Thanks

I believe the pics off the scoutguard are not in the same "format" as the pics your coolpix would take. It is a very common problem when using a regular camera to view TC pics.

Interesting. I've never had this problem with a Cudde, Stealth Cam, Moultrie, etc. Thanks

It could be a combination of format or folder structure of the SD card.
The camera has a structure "folder" for images that is not named the same as the trail cams designated folder.

It is like looking for pictures on your own pc, but looking in the wrong folder.

Mine doesn't work in my wife's coolpix either, but does in my Kodak.

Thanks guys. That helps a bunch. Good to know you can view them in other brands of cameras besides my coolpix.

I have not had any problem. I put my card in my camera (Kodak also) to check it in the feild.
