Let's see your Jacked up Mount pics

With all the talk on the bad mount thread of everyones goofy looking mounts, let's see some pics of your worst mounts. Maybe a little story to go along with.

I would love to take a pic of my neighbors mount. He has an axis with ears that look like shrek's. I just stare at it everytime I see it.

I will try and take a picture of my friend's mounted catalina goat. It is the scariest thing I have ever seen.

He has it hanging in his office and has no idea how bad it is.

I've seen some pretty bad ones posted in the forums already!

I still have the first mount I ever did. Thought many times about remounting it, but could never bring myself to take it apart. It's ugly as hell, but it's a constant reminder of my progress. I'll go upstairs in a minute and take a picture of it.

My grandpa has one that is flat out pitiful. His wife's cousins friend "knew" how to mount a deer and would do it for free. I was cleaning a deer this last year and I sent my 8 year old nephew into the barn (where the mount is hanging) to get the meat trays for me. He went in and about 2 min. later I hear a huge crash and banging and clanging then hear him come stampeding out. I go to investigate and just about get mowed over by him tearing around the corner. I asked him what the heck had happened and with eyes as big as saucers he told me "Uncle Jonathan get your gun quick, papa's deer that's hanging on the wall just smiled at me." I just about died laughing. The mount seriously is so bad that it looks like the deer is smiling. We're going to our property this weekend and if I think about it I'll take a pic of it and post it.

One of my exgirlfriends dad had a fallow and a whitetail that the same guy did. He was telling me how I was dumb for paying $600 for a sholder mount when he only pays $300. I cannot describe how ugly they are. I have never seen such poor workmanship.

Where is the thread about the guy bragging on the jacked up mount that was about 50 years old?? I think we agreed it was a whitetail cape on a pronghorn form??

                    Man, that one was funny!!

You get what you pay for in most instances. I am cheap on some things but my critters are priceless.

You said it. It kills me that people will pay so much money to hunt and harvest a trophy, but then try to find the cheapest taxidermist that they can.

                            Some Of my Mounts

I have been piddling with Taxidermy for a few years now this was my second mount. I think it looks pretty jacked up, I was proud of it at the time!
