    This pic is about 2-3 hours after the bite. She was walking around the house cleaning the outside of the windows in flip flops. She has always been very careful about looking out for snakes, she was the last one in my family that Idda thought would have got bit by a snake, and she even remembers looking down in the flower bed just before she was bit and not seeing anything. It was only about a 8 inch copperhead and as you probably know they blend in very well with dead leaves at any size...

      Yea, you are right, but when your chasing bad guys (drug mules) thru the brush trying to get them before they get back to the river, we sometimes forget. We got 6 out of the 9.

      Cousinz8 thanks again, now with all these pictures we are pretty certain that it was a dry bite. He did say that he felt that something hit him pretty hard.
