    Turtle shells, any creative ideas???

Over the years I have accumulated quite a bunch of turtle shells.
I've always tried to think of something creative to do with them. Sconce lighting, etc.
Anyone have any ideas or done something with them?

If you are a turkey hunter the shell makes a great base for a slate call. take just the top of the shell, cut a piece of slate to fit into it leaving a hollow, then epoxy, (neatly and carefully!), the slate in place. Shellac the shell after the epoxy dries. This makes a good sounding, good looking call. Try several thicknesses of slate and several strikers before setting with the epoxy to ensure you get the sound you want.

I do not know how big you turtle shells are but a friend made wind chimes from them sounds neat when the wind is blowing.
