just got back from fossil rim

we just got back from fossil rim. took the kids and niece and nephew. checked out fossil rim and dinosaur world and the state park. if anyone going to glen rose i recommend the dinosaur valley inn best western. it was a nice place. the kids had a great time. also made a run down to dublin and took the kids on the tour of the bottling plant. wish it had been on a wednesday though that is the day they bottle and have the machines moving.

they have cabins to rent on the back side of the place.
i told the wife we will have to go back later in the hear to see some of the racks of the bucks we saw. they have some nice looking blackbucks also.
some of the audad would not move i thought i was going to hit one, it just layed in the road.

The Audad own that part of the park, they don't like to move for anything. I always get a kick out of them. Were the rhinos out in their pens ?

And when we go we usually stop by Dinosaur State Park for litlle swimming action and then supper at The Ranchhand BBQ

Always amazed when we go there by just how huge the rhinos are. The kids grandma buys a yearly pass at FR, we go alot.

My wife and I went there a few years back. She was feeding everything out the car window with the alphalpha pellets they sell you. She coaxed a big oxen over to the car window (my side) and as she fed it by stretching her arm across my body to reach it, it sneezed and blew ox snot all over my face.
Too bad we didn't have a video camera running--could have made money off that one.
Ahh, memories.....
