My Wife and I are headed to Hawaii June 27 thru July 6 for our honeymoon. This will be my first time and I can't wait. We already have a bunch of stuff planned,(fishing, road to Hona, mountain, snorkle ect...) but I was wondering if any of yall had been and had any advise on what to do or thing that we need to bring.

I went a little over a year ago...that's where I proposed!...ya'll staying on the Big Island or on Oahu or Maui???...if you happen to go to Oahu stay away from the west end of the island...that's where they shipped all their homeless to...tent cities all along the beach heads and its not very safe...hope you have as much fun as we had!

Congrats!!
Sounds like you are going to Maui (Hana highway). It is beautiful. My girlfriend and my biggest mistake - we drove all the way around the island. The south coast is beautiful but west of Haleakala National Park is slow, rough, steep and scary. I mean s c a r y 2MPH drive!
A couple of good pairs of shoes/hiking boots. If you take the road to Hana, there are lots of water falls. Some of which you get the best view of by hiking back in off the road a bit. Shoes tend to get wet.
I'd also get the book, Hana Highway Mile by Mile. It is a good guide to what there is along the highway. Fruit stands are a must - tree ripe mangos yumm.
PM me if I can help more.

If you go to Oahu, drive the north east coast by sandy beach (Waimanalo). Stunning views. Check out blowhole while you're there. That's on the way to Hanamu Bay which has the best snorkling in Hawaii. Some great resturants are Halieva Joe's and Aaron's on top of the Ahla Mona Hotel (sp). STAY CLEAR of Waianae, the locals don't take too kindly to white folks. Other than that, enjoy it bro, no place like on the face of the earth. I lived there for 4 years before coming to Texas.
