New indoor gun range coming to Weatherford?

I saw in the paper today the the old Skate Queen roller rink at I-20 and Tintop Road closed, and the new owner is converting it into an indoor shooting range. It's a big building - could be a great place if they do it up right. I'm just excited about having a place to shoot that's so close to home. Any of you Parker County guys know who's doing this deal or any specifics? Apparently the city signed off on it last month.

If it's the guy I know that has been talking about it for a few years I wouldn't hold my breath. Not to mention the quality it would be.
If it's someone other than him it will stand a chance.

I can't see how he could make a range there and stay in business. Nothing has ever made it long around there. That is a high dollar piece of property. I hope it works but I agree with Jimmy I won't hold my breath.

I would be surprised that the Weatherford city council would sign off on a project like that .....the High School is the adjoining property..
