Due to the big wind storm last Wednesday, we lost power for about 40 hours. So the next day I was not going to take any chances, and picked up a new Honda Harmony EN2500W generator. Not that I ever had plans to put this in my boat to bowfish with, but to clearly protect the hundreds of dollars worth of deer meat in the freezer. Note: You never really want to know what the price/pound of deer meat really cost.
It runs great and is really not that loud (listed as 76 db @ 7m.) Just noticed that there was a really huge price jump for the generators that were really quite.
Has anybody done a muffler swap or cut and weld job to quite the Honda 5 HP engine. So that it's really quite as to not disturb the neighbors or other bowfishermen, with out coughing up the big bucks. Just curious.
