Binocs for $300???

I am looking to spend around $300 for a pair of binoculars. What say you TBH'ers? Any recommendations?

Nikon Monarchs. uh-mazing.

I think the Nikon Monarchs are also in that price range... they are pretty decent, but not as bright as my Leupold Olympic 10x50's. That may be cause the Nikons are 10x42. But still a good glass IMO. Haven't tried the Vortex, but I hear everyone that has them raves about them.

The leupold windriver cascade 10x42 are in that price range, I bought mine two years ago and truly wish I had bought them 10 years ago..... Great clarity and sharpness!!!

You're gonna need a lot more than that for the Swaros Jason. I have a pair of the EL's......that hurt the old bank account. If I ever buy another pair of binocs, it will be the Vortex's.

Ahh for some reason I was thinking his limit was $500 when I made that reference....... We three brothers just bought the old man a pair a few years ago for Christmas....
