Is anyone a Snap-on dealer or perhaps knows one?
I have a question concerning warranty on hammers (of all things). About 15 years ago I purchased a set of hammers that consisted of a dead-blow ball peen, dead-blow brass, and a dead-blow sledge. Over the years, little pieces of the plastic (?) coating on have chipped away, not that big of a deal. But now it's falling completely off. I grabbed one of the hammers to use the other day, hit a punch, and the coating basically shattered, leaving just the metal underneath. The whole thing came apart in my hand. Just out of curiosity, I grabbed the other two dead blows and just struck the garage floor. Same thing happened. I've got three worthless pieces of metal.
Anyone know if the warranty would cover something like this after 15 years? I paid enough for them, the oughta be warranted forever at that price!!
