    Thermacell

Does anyone know of a place to buy the replacement butane cartridges by themselves? I have strips everywhere but no butane cartridges. After a few cold ones on the deck, we forget to turn the darn thing off.

Go to the cosmetics dept at Wal-Mart. Look where the curling irons are. Packaged 2 to a pack - made by Conair. Cheaper than ThermaCell too!

          Go to walmart.....

Thermacell / Conair makes one that is used in cordless curling irons, 2 pack of butane for about $4 or $5.........

          ^^^^^^^^TB beat me to it......^^^^^^^^

Do what they said......go to Wallyworld's cosmetic section and get the refills. Cheaper than the Thermacell brand and does the same job.

Since we are on the subject...how about some reviews of the Thermacell? Are they worth it? Are they truly scent free? Thanks for the input!

I've never used mine in the deer stand to see if the deer can smell it but I know it's worth every penny in a duck blind!

They work GREAT!!! I've had deer walk under the stand with one running. My son had one lay down under the stand. I wouldn't say scent free because I can smell it when it first comes on.

I have never seen just the butane at my Academy. I will look closer next time I go, which will be today.
